I've always loved game design, since I was 8 years old and tried to make my first game in Q-Basic. While my techniques are now a lot more refined, my drive to create compelling, original games remains intact. Oh, and the BA in Game Art and Design doesn't hurt.
A Long Time

It's been a long time since my last update, which doesn't really matter that much except that I've been trying to keep with it. I've been extremely productive, nonetheless.

I implemented too much new stuff into Squirrelfall to remember it all. Main points of interest:

  • General progress on the cutscene, though it isn't finished.
  • Finished the Pigeon enemy and three variations, as well as different behaviors for each
  • Implemented the My Squirrel feature - unlock new outfits for your squirrel for getting further in the game!  Not to mention six costumes (there will be twenty in the final version).
  • Various special effects: special move effects, environment effects, and so on.
  • Tons of new graphics, with more still to come.

So after all this, there's only so much that is left to be done:

  • High score system (the worst thing that's happened to me yet)
  • How to play screen
  • Graphics
  • 13 costumes

..That's all I can think of for now, though I'm sure there's at least one thing I'm missing.  Anyway, home stretch!

It wasn't just Squirrelfall I've been productive with.  I did a website for a new client in a week's time, as well as various other web design work.
